Is this normal for 14 weeks pregnant?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant.
Yesterday my back and hips started really aching. I couldn't sleep all night because it hurt so much. My knees were aching. My head was pounding all night. I felt sick this morning but this could have been to lack of sleep. And I had no appetite all day today. Back and hips are still aching a lot.
I've taken a LFT which came back negative. I'll do another in a couple of days. I'm terrified it's Covid.
Or is this normal for this stage of pregnancy?

Are you using a pregnancy pillow?

Lack of sleep makes you ache and feel generally rough, pregnant or not.

I hope you sleep well tonight.

From around 14 weeks I had a lot of back pain and still have it at 18 weeks my midwife said it's normal to get these pains starting around 13-14 weeks as we get a surge in the hormone relaxin, which is happening so your uterus can expand

With my first, this started for me around 20 weeks, with my second it's already started and I am almost 15 weeks. I think it's normal unfortunately.

@lawandgin

Are you using a pregnancy pillow?
I actually used a pregnancy pillow last night for the first time and it's definitely helped. My back isn't hurting as much this morning and I definitely slept a lot better.

I wonder then if it is just that, with the hormones and everything expanding. I'd much rather that than it be Covid. I was panicking yesterday thinking it was with the way I was feeling. I do feel better today after having a much better sleep! And the pregnancy pillow helped a lot!

I'm wondering if it could be a head cold as my head feels a bit blocked and stuffy. Keep sneezing and my throat is sore. But back feels better.

You should be drinking lots when pregnant, make a habit of tracking how much you drink, it will make you drink more! It may resolve headaches

The forehead strips are amazing for headaches, 100% reccomend trying them out! Also i made the mistake of completley cutting out caffine with my first pregnancy and it caused headaches, once i went back to 1 cup of tea/coffee a day the headaches were alot less!

My apetite has dipped again with this pregancy (15 weeks) and did with my first, i think its just a pregnancy thing especially if you have suffered with sickness, just eat what you fancy in moderation!

I got this in my last pregnancy and it's already started slightly now at 10 weeks. It turned into pelvic girdle pain for me and I ended up having to use crutches. If it gets worse, ask your midwife to refer you for physio.

I was 14 weeks when I developed lots of pain in my hips and back and had to start using a pregnancy pillow which really helped
