Oh my god !!!! Has anyone around 19/20 weeks been hit with extreme fatigue again !!! I was like this between 4 and 8 weeks and then it went away but not it’s back with a vengeance I’ve litterly just had to go and have a 10 minute nap on my bed. (Thank god for working from home). Am not sleeping the best and waking up for a couple of hours through the night so hoping thag it’s that and not the fatigue back again. Anyone got any tips for beating fatigue and for better sleeping ??
Thanks

I'd mention to your midwife, the night want to do some bloods to check for anaemia. Fatigue is pretty normal but not usual for it to be extreme in second trimester.

Yep 22 weeks sleeping about 12 hours a night and need a nap! Constantly exhausted …. I could literally sleep and hide in my bed all day x

This is my second pregnancy and I’ve pretty much felt exhausted the entire time. With my first I felt fantastic in my second trimester and got that burst of energy and pregnancy glow. I’m 36 weeks today and it’s never happened for me this pregnancy. I have suffered with low iron the whole time, my iron levels were already low before I got pregnant. Although not quite where they need to be my levels have crept up & up and I probably feel the best I have all this pregnancy. So I think it’s definitely worth getting your iron levels checked. I’ve been taking spatone iron water sachets as they are safe in pregnancy, are easy to buy from boots, chemist, supermarket and don’t give you the side effects like iron tablets can. If your levels are really low though you will be prescribed something by your doctor
