Could this be mastitis ?
I don’t have a temperature but have been consistently taking panadol for post c section so could be masked. Every night getting chills & night sweats. Heart rate really high & dizzy

No redness on breasts but have felt a lump in one this evening & did have painful cracked nipples a few days ago

Are lumps normal or should be checked out due to mastitis ? Because of Covid risk I’m cautious to go to hospital if this is normal

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Night sweats are common postpartum (I remember getting drenched...) so I wouldn't read too much into that. Funny lumps, bumps and hard bits also common as milk supply sets on. If your breasts aren't especially tender I wouldn't jump straight to mastitis.

Not sure about the high heart rate though - how high are we talking? Mine took a little while to get down below 80 but if it's very high to the extent you're feeling lightheaded, I would ring GP. Could be infection or myriad other things.
