I know people will tell you all sorts. Just bear in mind everyone is an individual. I know a set of boy/boy twins who are enormously different. One's tiny and one's huge.

Yes. Ds first was 6lb 11 and then dd was 7lb 4.

Allthebubbles · 16/01/2022 16:10

Yup- DS first- 8lb 14 and DD 9lb 10.

Aren't second babies generally a bit bigger?

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 16/01/2022 16:13

Ds six pounds nine ounces
Dd seven pounds fifteen ounces

Exact same gestation. Both heads over the 95th percentile. Dd is currently taller than her (tall) brother was at the same age.

Ds was 8lb 11oz and dd was 8lb 14oz and she was born a day earlier than him (40+13 & 40+14)

So my experience mirrors that 2nd babies are bigger and come earlier but not by much!

My sister had a boy then girl. Boy was half a pound heavier.

I buck the trend - DS was 7lb4 and then DD 6lb3, both at 38w
