Wondering if anyone can help, i am currently on maternity leave with 6 weeks 90% pay and the rest £151 a week SMP. Will i also qualify for Universal Credit and the Sure Start Grant?
I don't have any house costs as i live with my boyfriends family.

Your claim would be assessed according to your joint income. What income does your partner have?

It will all depend on your partners income as it will be a joint claim. As you have no housing costs your overall amount will be lower and they will deduct your smp and partners wages at a rate of 55p per £1

Do a benefits calculator to see 🙂
Surestart grant has to be claimed within a certain amount of time of baby being born.
