Small gestational sac

Hello, I've had a private scan at 6 weeks 4 day then 8 weeks. Baby's measuring fine and there's a heat beat but I feel like me pregnancy sac looks so small ?? Has anyone else had an early scan ?

Are the dates not on there for what you are measuring?

At 6+4, what was you measuring?
At 8, what was you measuring?
Dates may be in corner of the image

As an example. I went for scan at 6+1, and was measuring 5 weeks.
I then went for a scan at 7+1 and was measuring 6+4 (so went +11 days in 7 days. But it had my measurements on the scan images itself.

Sorry, just read your OP again, ignore me as I'm not answering your question. If there was a problem, I'm sure they would have told you?

Looks fine to me, main thing they want to see is a heart beat x

Thanks for you reply. The lady who did the scan did mention it was on the small side but the baby measured fine so just to wait and see what my 12 weeks scan turns out like. Was just abit worried after googling small gestational sac, I wish I never googled it

Hi There, do you have an update on this please? My ultrasound showed a small gestational sac which the lady said was unusual and not to get hopes up, so am very worried.

Hi ladies, I had a bleed and some clotting/ tissue ( ivf dates) i went for an early scan at 5w + 6d. The sono said the gestational sac was measuring very small but could see a york sac so asking me to come back in a week and stay on meds. She did say it doesn’t look promising. Anyone else been in a similar situation? Xxxx

With one of my twins the gestational sac measured a week behind the baby.
I drank loads of water as read that could help and by 10 weeks sac was a better size

There is a high risk of miscarriage though if there is less than a certain number of mm between sac size and baby size
