Pregnant a week after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage on 12th of December and it ended on the 17th, today I had a scan (see other post for reason) and it’s confirmed that I’m pregnant again and I conceived on the 23rd of December, has anyone else gotten pregnant so quick after a miscarriage, I didn’t know it was possible a week after😳

That does seem very quick. How are you feeling about it? You've not really had much time to process your loss so it might be difficult to get your head around it.

Yep, entirely possible. Some people ovulate very quickly, some take longer.
I conceived around 2 5 weeks after my 3rd MC.

I just feel like I've been pregnant for ages (now 20 weeks) but the first trimester was a pretty anxious time.

It was really early, I miscarried at around 5 weeks and it was my second miscarriage so I had doubts as I will with this pregnancy but I’m hopeful

Because I’ve gotten pregnant again so quickly I feel like I’ve just reset back to level 1 and keep thinking I would have been almost 3 months now but hopefully this one sticks fingers crossed 🤞

Yep same happened to me- miscarried at 7 weeks in September, approx 2 weeks later (before I’d had a period) I got pregnant again. I felt worried it was a bit TOO quick but fingers crossed am 16 weeks now and all ok so far. It’s a fact you are more fertile post a miscarriage so probably just that?

It happened to me, had a mmc with surgical intervention at 12 weeks and pg 1 week later.
She’s 17 now and medically everything was fine with the pregnancy etc but I have to be honest it was quite hard psychologically
