Scared! Anyone had covid at 28 weeks pregnant?

I tested positive for covid a few days ago. I'm fully vaccinated and I've had the booster but I'm feeling really poorly and am panicking. I've been super careful all the way through but work as a part time early years teacher and have picked it up there. I'm currently in bed with flu symptoms, no energy, cough and feel a little breathless. Hoping I don't get any worse and worried about baby.
Has anybody else been through this?

Sorry to hear you're feeling so rotten. My friend had covid early in her third trimester and did end up needing to go to hospital for oxygen but she had only had 1 jab so hopefully you'll do much better!

Has your midwife given you a call to refresh your risk assessment for blood clots? Having covid infection is a risk factor and they may need to send you out some blood thinning injections to try and prevent this.

Try and drink plenty of fluids and try not to stay immobile for too long, best of luck for a full recover, thank goodness you'd had your booster!

Ah thank you for your reply. I've heard of a few pregnant ladies that have needed to go in for oxygen, hopefully being fully vaccinated means I'll avoid that.

A midwife has just rang to see how I'm doing, which was nice. She asked a few questions and said I don't need the blood thinning injections, so that's good news.

I still have my appetite and am drinking lots, mostly honey and lemon which seems to help.
Hopefully I'll be over the worst in next few days x
