Hey girls
I'm nearly 15 weeks and I'm going through so many different emotions ATM but really trying not to worry.

I saw baby at 12 weeks and he/she was doing a headstand in my tummy and was pretty active.
I think I have a bit of a bump but not too sure if it's just extra weight or not LOL.
I'm a bit worried about how frequent I need to urinate. I'd use the toilet and feel like I've emptied my bladder but a few minutes later there's a little more that needs to come out. When I mentioned this to the midwife she didn't seem concerned because there's no pain, itching or any other signs of uti. Has anyone else experienced this??
Yesterday I had some stomach pains on my left and right side but I'm guessing this is normal, I have a little back pain today too. I'm just trying not to panic !!
I guess I just need some advice and reassurance until I have my 20 week scan late Feb.

I'm 24 weeks now and have been going to the toilet every half an hour since about 18 weeks. It's highly annoying but midwife has told me it's quite normal. If you're concerned, you can also ask them to do a UTI check? They're also super common during pregnancy and easily treated x

Oh sorry just seen there's no sign of UTI! I'd say it's perfectly normal. Baby probably pressing down on the bladder x

@ninadust Congrats!!! Is this your first pregnancy??
I think to be on the safe side I'll do a UTI check when I'm next in, which is for my 16 week check-up. It has been like this since before my 12 week scan though, just hoping it eases off a little.
How's 24weeks treating you?? And do you know if you're having a boy or girl x

Hi op, congratulations. It's absolutely normal. I was the same with all my pregnancies and are the same with this one. As frustrating as it is, there is nothing we can do about it. Maybe try and hold off going for as long as you can. It does get harder the further along you get. Hope this helps 🙂. Xx

@Newmom054 yes good idea! 24 weeks is great now, felt nauseas and exhausted in the first trimester but the only symptoms now are the frequent toilet trips and some back ache. Yes first pregnancy, so super super excited - and he's a little boy! Will you be finding out :)? Is this your first too? X

Newmom054 · 11/01/2022 12:07

@MrsCtobe91 Hey love, thank you xx
I was a little worried because apparently frequently urinating eases during the second trimester. And congratulations on another little bundle of joy 😊 x

@ninadust
Aww, well you haven't got too long left now. Same as me and I have the odd stomach pains I'm guessing from uterus stretching.
Awww amazing, congratulations again!! Its also my first so the excitement is real and I think I will find out the gender. Can't wait !!
Best wishes xx
