Did anyone take Raspberry Leaf Capsules and when did they start, did you find a difference

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I didn't have capsules but had hottea mam final push teabags which are raspberry leaf , I drank it from 37/38 weeks

I don't think it made any difference baby was born a week and a day late - needed episiotomy as she was back to back and struggling

My labour was fast though contractions started 11pm and she was born 02:26

Maybe the tea helped 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knows

I started drinking the tea at about week 37. Labour started exactly on my due date but did not progress and I had to have an EMCS

I used capsules but we are talking 30 odd years ago for three pregnancies. I definitely think they made a difference as I took them much more regularly with the first, forgot more with next two pregnancies as busy with other children. Each labour got longer from 3 hours for first to 6 hours for last. I wouldn't like to advise on when to start as I was very naive in my thinking that because they were natural I couldn't do any harm and started very early with first which I believe is not recommended now and I doubled up dose as it got closer to due date. I'd recommend following instructions on the packet or advice from someone who knows more than me. I believe it works by toning the womb for an efficient labour which seemed to be true with me although only anecdotal I know as I didn't have a pregnancy/labour without them.

I'm on the hot tea mama tea. I'm 37+4 trying to have 3 a day but mostly managing 1-2. Fingers crossed for a not too long labour 😬

I am planning a homebirth. Also trying to do the dates everyday and perineal massage 3x a week to do my best to prepare. Feels like a lot to remember 😂

I took the tea form about 34 weeks. The capsules from 36. Think it was 1 capsule, the first week then 2.
I think it helped as first baby, 8 hr labour from first twinge to birth.
