Hi everyone,
I have a low placenta and was told this needed to be checked and would be at 30 something weeks. I got the appointment through for 26 weeks which I was surprised at but went to it.
I got there yesterday to be told it was cancelled and I hadn't been informed. I wasn't very happy as I'd taken the afternoon off work for it and hadn't been told. I asked when I was rescheduled for.
They then told me I'd have to ring myself and talk to someone but they'd rang whoever and been told that my placenta had moved and so it was done and fine.
I haven't had a scan so how would they know if it's moved? It's bizarre!
I've tried to ring the number given myself and nobody answers.
I think they have made a mistake with not letting me know and not rebooking and are trying to cover it as it just seems odd?
I feel a bit worried I'm just gonna be left and not checked anymore now. They haven't checked me to know and seemed to have cancelled and forgotton it?
Anybody else had this?
