Ok, please prepare me by giving my your outcomes as I'm going insane with the waiting (& Googling)

Currently pregnant. 7 weeks today based on LMP. I had a scan at 6+4 due to light but prolonged bleeding from 4-6 weeks.

The scan showed a gestational sac and a yolk sac but nothing else. No fetal pole or heartbeat were seen.

I'm going to be scanned again in two weeks (20th January).

My LMP dates are accurate and due to my husband being away the last time we DTD was 5th December. I do not know for sure when I ovulated but normally day 13-15 of a 28 day cycle. I could have ovulated late but obviously due to lack of sex I must have conceived in the 5-7 days following 5th December.

If anyone is willing to share their stories of either positive or negative outcomes I'd appreciate it in trying to prepare myself of what to expect.

And yes to anyone who asks this is ANOTHER thread by me. I'm really struggling and have no real life support right now due to my husband being away. Please be kind.

I've had 4 miscarriages and all of them have showed nothing within the sac. Then my 4th miscarriage just showed a yolk sac, never progressed and was classed as a silent miscarriage. 3 of my miscarriages I bled naturally and it was over soon as that bleeding started. With my 4th my body didn't recognise it for a long time. Pregnancy never got more than 6 weeks, but I started bleeding at 10 weeks. I'm so sorry you're going throw this. It's the waiting limbo and not having answers.

I am writing this now at 24 weeks pregnant with my little girl and she's truly my angel baby. She's my one baby who has stuck, so never lose hope x

Went for scan at what we thought was 6 weeks and they dated me 5 weeks and showed only a sac. Said it can go either way. But it ruled out ectopic which is why we went. That relief actually turned into a week of anxiety whilst we waited for another scan.

Longest week. Probably feeling like you do. Had no reason to believe anything was wrong and a part of us regretted the early scan at times.

Anyway. A week later we measured 6+4 (so 11 days progress in 7 days). And they saw heartbeat.

Everything's so small at these earl stages. A day or two can make so much difference.
