36 week scan, baby belly measuring big

Has anyone's babs stomach measured big at this point? Her stomach is measuring off the chart she's gone from being on the 35th percentile to the 65th 😶. A bit worried about it but sonographer didn't seem too worried she emailed my midwife and I'm.going in for a fasting test next week. X

My babies belly has been measuring big since 20 weeks... she's off the scale at 95 percentile 😅

They said to me it looked like a gestational diabetes baby... which they were right as I tested positive for GD 24 hours later...

You should be offered more scans and hopefully get another test for GD as it can come on at any point and that's usually the reason baby grows bigger, especially there belly! X

Yes, my baby has just been large since first growth scan. I passed my GTT at 29 but have just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 36 weeks x

Dc2's tummy was enormous at a 36 week scan. So big, the computer couldn't cope with the measurement apparently, so literally off the chart. However, his birth was very easy and straightforward. He eventually weighed in at 8lb 10oz at not quite 37 weeks, so the scan was accurate. . I didn't have gestational diabetes, he was just s little fatty. He's 15 now and has no fat on him at all.

Is she measuring off the chart or is she in the 65th centile around her belly?

65th centile means there are 35 out of a 100 with bigger bellies... which is not off the scale...

My babies is at 70 something and I'm not remotely concerned neither is my consultant...

It's all new to me as my first was born 6lb 8 🤣 something was telling me this whole pregnancy this one was going to be a whopper. I did have glucose in my urine at my 34 week appointment but she didn't think much of it.

Yes I had this and again it turned out to be undiagnosed GD. BUT I also had a lot of growth scans this time and last time… the measurements are definitely not always accurate! I was told my son was going to be some sort of giant baby and he was 7lb 2.
