Asymptomatic of PET??

Was looking through my maternity notes as I had a different midwife today who explained nothing and it says 'asymptomatic of PET' what does this mean??? Does this mean I have something?! Please help :(((((

It means you don't have any symptoms of pre eclampsia. Some of the checks the midwife does like dipping your urine and doing your blood pressure looks for signs of pre eclampsia.

Asymptomatic basically means that you are a carrier for a disease but have no symptoms. So in this case I'd imagine she means you are at risk of pre-eclampsia but do not have it at present

Hm I wonder if that's cause I had protein in my urine a couple of weeks ago?Confused

Quite possibly but protein in urine alone isn't indicative of PET but they will have to watch you as it does occur with other PET symptoms
