Pregnancy and breathing

Hi everyone,

I am 30 weeks pregnant and I have started struggling to breathe as my baby is squashing my lungs! I have spoke to my midwife and she has said there isn't anything she can advise. I was wondering if any other woman on here have struggled with breathing and have found anything that helps?!

Thanks in advance

Not trying to walk and talk at the same time, particularly uphill. Slowing down going upstairs. Pregnancy yoga helped for a bit of relief as well Particularly being on all fours (so things like cat cow) or standing warrior pose against a wall, also just stretching arms up l, side stretches etc. It got a lot better when baby dropped at 36 weeks though until breathing has got difficult again at 38/39 weeks! All normal though as baby is taking up room and all your organs move into a smaller space so not much room for lungs!
