Worries after 20 week scan

Hi!
I had my 20 week scan today, baby was in an awkward position the entire with her head down. The sonographer got a thorough look at the heart, kidneys, stomach, spine etc and talked us through everything. Initially she said she would have to bring us back for a rescan next week as she couldn’t get a proper look at baby’s head or face due to the position, but after a lot of bouncing and poking and prodding baby eventually moved up a bit.
However this was at the very end of the scan (we’d been in for an hour) and she only looked at baby’s head for a couple of minutes, if even. I think she took one measurement of the head circumference but I’m just worried in case she missed something because she didn’t get looking at it for very long.
In my notes it says ‘face observed - appears normal’ but I’m worried that she didn’t get a chance to check for any abnormalities such as cleft lip etc 😩
Is this normal to only look at the head/face for a short period of time?

I know I’m probably overthinking things but this is my first pregnancy and I’m worrying about everything!

Don't worry, she will likely know exactly what she is looking at and looking for, and will have seen the face a few times while doing all the prodding etc and then saw it properly at the end. They're experts, try and trust them!

Our entire 20 week scan took less than 15 minutes, they got all the measurements they needed. The sonographer literally reeled off a list from start to finish and someone else was taking notes, it was so quick. Even had time to find the gender during our appointment and that took a few minutes at the end. I wouldn't worry, they know what they are looking for.

Ours was really quick too, about 20 mins I. Total. I had the same concerns as you but the sonography people have been doing this for years, they know what they are are looking for, try not to worry. X
