Ive been having regular growth scans as I had extremely low papp a at the 12 week scan (0.22 mom). Baby is growing well (52%) however at my scan yesterday I can see that my pi and ri scores on the fetal doppler have increased dramatically from pi 48% and ri 58% at 32 weeks to both being 87% at 36 weeks.

Dr. Google tells me that readings over 95% are really bad and some papers suggest even readings over 90% can be indicative of higher risk of stillbirth. I'm worried about how much it has increased in such a short time and the fact that noone will monitor it now again as I'm due to have a section at 39 weeks (maternal request). It could easily go over 90 or even 95 in the next week if the previous increase continues. I have the impression that the pressure should if anything be decreasing at this stage.

I dont have any further appointments booked with the consultant and have no idea who to contact other than my community midwife who hasn't got back to me. There is no follow up from the scan.

Am I stressing over nothing? Or should I be pushing to get more information and reassurance from someone? If so who!!?

Please ring your consultant secretary to book an appointment.

I'm not going to go into our experience but please book an appointment.

Thanks for your reply @SWAttempting sounds quite ominous

Unfortunately I don't have any contact details for the consultant or her assistant. I guess I'll ring triage tomorrow morning and be pushy. Thanks for the advice.

If you want to inbox me I'll share my experience and can direct you as to what they need to be monitoring you for too
