Anyone else 36+ weeks and over it?

36 weeks with my 4th. I do not remember being SO uncomfortable with my others!

I can't sleep comfortably, I can't eat without my oesophagus becoming a fiery pit of hell, I can't breathe, walking up the stairs is like climbing a mountain, my leg is permanently numb, I can't poo properly, DP has basically completely taken over all aspects of parenting for the last few weeks so I feel shit about that, the list could go on for another 10 paragraphs (of pure whining!)

I just don't know how I can go on like this for weeks! Anyone else in the same boat?

Feel free to throw in your labour stories to refresh my memory!

I'm 34 weeks with my 4th and could moan all day about how shit I feel. Still feel sick every day unless I eat constantly but then the heartburn gets me. Exhausted d constantly. I ahve a nap everyday but still feel like I haven't slept in days. Hips are aching and just can't get comfortable. Can't breathe either. I get up hourly in the night for the toilet. I think that's everything 😆

How old are your other dc? Mine are 10, 8 and almost 2.

34 weeks and bedbound in absolute agony.

Waiting for the Doctor to call me now. I simply cannot do this anymore Sad

Me. I’m 38 weeks today and all I can think about is begging the hospital for an induction at my growth scan on Monday Blush.
I’ve had constant Braxton Hicks for the last week that go from painless to actually quite sore and they never lead to anything. It’s frustrating.
The pressure on my cervix is unreal. It honestly feels like the baby is just going to fall out at any minute and the heartburn is horrific. The thought of running out of rennies could bring in a panic attack.

@Covidthreadstarter oh the night time waking for a wee is torture! I wouldn't mind so much if the whole pee came out each time, but it's just a small trickle... then another trickle... repeat all night
Mine are 6, 4 and 1! It's a crazy house.

@MollyQueenOfSocks I'm sorry to hear that! What are you suffering the most with? I hope your doctor doesn't brush it off Sad

@NameChanged15729 I'm having growth scans too and there's been talk of inducing me at 39 weeks if he drops below 10th centile, on my most recent one he seems to have upped a notch though so it's not looking likely now. I don't know how I feel about it because on the one hand I really want him to grow, but on the other I really want to know he'll be out in 3 weeks!

I'm way behind you ladies at 32weeks. This is no3. I am done. Csection at 39weeks can't come soon enough. Piles, constipation, uti, thrush, heartburn, leg cramps, hourly waking for a thimble of wee.

Enwi · 06/01/2022 12:43

These threads are certainly reassuring! Almost 35 weeks and just soooo over it now. I’m with you on the husband having to take over basically all aspects of parenting too. I don’t feel like I can function any more Sad
Pelvic girdle pain, awful heartburn, nausea, back ache, digestive troubles, braxton hicks that wake me up at night, constantly needing a wee. This is my third pregnancy and I think each one has gotten harder 😒

eandz13 · 06/01/2022 13:35

Ahh sorry to hear @wingingit33, it's even worse knowing you have a bit longer to wait, but you're suffering all the same! I've somehow avoided piles and UTI's during this pregnancy which is new for me, so you've reminded me it could be worse, which makes me feel a little better!

@Enwi each of my pregnancies have gotten progressively harder too. My first pregnancy was an absolute breeze. I even got the famed 'glow'! All downhill from there. This one is certainly my last.
