Hello,

I had quite bad nausea, sore boobs and exhaustion until around 9+4. I’m now 10+1 and feel normal again.

We had an early scan at 7+5 and baby was looking good with a heartbeat and measuring a few days head.

I’m hoping that this is normal and my placenta has taken over, but any reassurance would be greatly welcomed!

I had this as well at pretty much exactly the same number of weeks as you and got myself in such a tizz that I booked a private scan. All was completely fine and I had a healthy pregnancy. I had no symptoms at all for the rest of my pregnancy. I think like you say it is the placenta taking over and your past the peak of hcg.

It's such a stressful time the 1st trimester. I found it got easier after the 12week scan. You'll still worry but not as much.

@SGChome20 that’s good to know that you had something similar.

I don’t think I anticipated how anxious this first trimester would be. I think I’ve googled too much and can’t help but worry I’ll have a MMC.

My 12 week scan is booked in for the 25th but feels like a lifetime away!

This is perfectly normal.

OP, I had a mmc 3 years ago and loss of symptoms is not a particular sign of a mmc. I had all my symptoms right up until 12 weeks when I was wheeled into theatre for my surgery, when my baby had died 4 weeks before.

Congratulations and try not to stress, you're overwhelmingly likely to have a successful pregnancy.

As pp said, loss of symptoms not always a sign of mmc. When I had mine, my symptoms got even stronger as my hormones were all over the place.
With this pregnancy, I lost my symptoms around
week 9 (also convinced myself something went terribly wrong). Currently 39+5, waiting for the little one to pop out 🙂.

Oh I'm so glad I came across this post - thanks for asking this question OP, I'm in the same boat! My symptoms peaked between 8+3 and 9+2, I'm 10 weeks today and I now feel pretty much normal.

I also had an early scan at 7+5 as I had a couple of days of spotting, but everything was fine. Fingers crossed for both of us, and thanks very much to the PPs who have given very reassuring responses!
