C section mamas - how long did gas & afterpains last post birth ?

For those who had c section how long did the gas z& after pains last for ? Stomach sounds like a Trimble drier

I think about 48 hours. Although maybe a bit longer.
I asked for medicine to help with trapped wind as it was causing me so much pain.

Get some Rennie Deflatine, I have always used them after keyhole surgery,or take peppermint oil capsules or peppermint tea.
