Tens Machine before labour?

Hi, I have a tens machine in prep for labour but I'm currently suffering with bad back ache, my birthing ball isn't helping either. I'm 38+4 and wonderedd if I could use it now? Hard to find any info on it as everything I find is labour related xx

I used mine for a couple of weeks prior to my due date. The advice at the time was to get used to using it, not sure if the advice has changed since. It was a good few years ago.

I think the advice is not till 37 weeks, so you're fine. I used it constantly for the last 2 weeks of my first pregnancy- born 9 days late, so about where you are now. It was an absolute Godsend and I'd totally recommend it.
