2 week wait for a rescan at EPU

Hi ladies. I don’t really know what I’m looking for out of this but just some experiences please.
according to LMP I should be 8+5 today but I had a small bleed Christmas Day and have had brown spotting everyday since so I had an appointment with the EPU today to check what was happening. I have felt like something wasn’t right tbh.
The lady who scanned me said I have an Axial Uterus which meant it was really difficult for her to get a clear image with the internal scanner. She could see something there but couldn’t get a good enough image to get measurements but she said it seemed more like a 6 week pregnancy than an 8 week one. What I’m now struggling with is I have got to wait 2 weeks before they will rescan me to see if the pregnancy has progressed. I feel like if they had told me I’m miscarrying I could start to accept it but now I’m just in limbo. Any advice or experience on how to deal with the waiting?

Hi, I had similar before Xmas. Went for early scan at 6+1 to rule out ectopic... Got that great news but was then hit with "oh it's looking 5 weeks, can go either way, come back in a week".. well, really long week. Even this account was created in that week.. trawled all of Google.
It's best to think positive and be confident. We did regret even going for the scan at times.. what will be will be regardless if we monitor it each week.
My scan a week later showed I went to 6+4 so apparently made 11 days progress in 7 days... Things are so small at this stage that they can be way off.
There's a lot of similar stories. You may find comfort in finding all those stories and reading them. Or many advise to stay off Google.
What ever you do Just try keep healthy and rested...
