20 week scan nerves

Hey guys,
I have my 20 week scan tomorrow (4th Jan) and I can't help thinking the worst :((

This is my first pregnancy so I feel like i've been a little worried through everything but i'm 20 weeks and i've felt no movements at all. I literally don't even feel pregnant it's crazyyy.

Has anyone been in my position with the feeling of no movements, not really got a bump and just feel completely normal.. I just want everything to be okay, fingers crossed :((

I hardly had a bump at 20 weeks. I had only felt flutters not actual kicks/movements until about 22 weeks. What you are describing is totally normal try not to worry and goodluck try and enjoy it!

Same here, even on my third I only started feeling movements after 20 weeks and don’t get a bump until later. Best of luck with the scan.

I felt just like you with my first. No symptoms of pregnancy whatsoever. But the baby was fine and I felt first movement at 21 weeks, exactly a week after the scan. Good luck! :)

I didn’t feel any movement until 24 weeks. Currently 28 weeks and still only feel gentle flutters every now and again. You might have an anterior placenta which is masking all of the movement. Don’t worry!

Congratulations @alixmay! You may still not feel any movement for a few weeks, it’s all so worrying during pregnancy! Lovely news to hear your little girl is healthy.

This was me! I wore my normal jeans to my 20 week scan and felt absolutely fine from weeks 14-37ish. Baby is 4 months now and perfect. Dont worry xxx
