When I go for my next AN appointment in 10 days time, will they be able to pick up the heartbeat at that stage with the little hand held thing they use?

Oh yeah they should by now, they picked mine up at about the same time or earlier, however it does depend on the position of the baby and the placenta.

ive had my babies heartbeat picked up at this stage however it can be hard to hear so dont be alarmed if the midwife cant pick it up with the sonicaid

I had mine done last Friday when I was 12+4 and I heard it As others have said though, it can depend on position and other things so don't panic if you can't hear it, midwife will say if she's worried.
