The purple line

So I've read that a purple line appears when you cervix is dilated/dilating. How true is this? I've just checked and I have the start of the "line" at 32 weeks. I've been feeling awful and had some pretty strong braxton hicks the last week or so!

I have a purple line that goes to about an inch above the top of my bum crack. I started loosing my mucus plug on Saturday. I'm full term though

Random that you asked this question as I had read about this online and decided to have a look a couple of days ago! I wish that I had started looking sooner, as I bet the development would have been interesting to see. I'd also be able to tell you when I started to notice it, to help you out a little.

Have you had any other signs or symptoms of labour other than BH OP? I've been getting BH for weeks now, it's just your body preparing itself for labour, so I wouldn't worry

Nope, no other signs! Just stronger braxton hicks!

Oh very exciting for you! Your bundle could be here any day! It's so interesting isn't it. It's crazy how our bodies change and these little weird things come 😂x
