Early days yet, I'm just over 5 weeks.
In my last pregnancy nearly 7 years ago, I had bleeding when we attempted intercourse and bleeding during the 12 week scan. I was referred to a consultant for that and because I'd had lletz treatment nine months before I fell pregnant.
Length of cervix was checked at 21 weeks and all fine at 3.4cm, but when I went back at 24 weeks for a follow up it had shortened to 2.4cm. Lng story short, I was put on progesterone pessaries 3 times a day up until 36 weeks, bed rest from 32 weeks as cervix was soft and DD engaged, even though I did start to dilate at 37 weeks DD stayed put until 40+5, so all worked out fine.
It was stressful until I got to nearer full term though, has anyone else experienced similar but subsequent pregnancies have been fine?
I still have a problem with bleeding outside of pregnancy as have cervical erosion which I've had silver nitrate applied to twice, and fingers crossed it's been better since the second time, but just a bit nervous.
