I've just found out I'm pregnant with baby number 3. This wasn't a planned pregnancy but I'm over the moon to be having number 3. I never had any anxiety when pregnant with my other to but this time round I can't help but keep thinking something is going to happen. I'm losing sleep and am constantly worried. Can anyone give me some advice on how to stop feeling this way

Congratulations! How far along are you? I was exactly the same with my first and I just had to keep counting down until the next milestone so things like scans and midwife appointments. I just kept thinking if I can get to X I'll calm down a bit and then once there I'd think right if I can just get to Y.

Sounds horrid but keeping track of the likelihood of a miscarriage week by week also helped me, as it's nice to watch the likelihood decrease.

Pregnancy yoga also good once you're 12w! Good luck, hope you find something that works for you as I know how hard it is x

Thank you. From my LMP I work it out to be 6 weeks thank you I'm going to try this I don't know why I'm so worried this time round with the first two it didn't really cross my mind x

That's great, you're already halfway to 12 weeks! Maybe try to focus on things you can control like being as healthy and active as you can for the little one on board and as I said just keep counting down until the next milestone. Once you can feel them moving I find it easier to relax as you have that constant reassurance then so maybe try counting down until that point x

You're in a similar position to me, I think it's weirder as it's a surprise so it's a lot of complicated emotions. That and the worry of having a massive bump before the 12w scan so you have to tell people. I'm not sure on the answer but maybe an early scan might tell so at least you know it's a tiny chance of something going wrong? We did an 8ish week one with #2 and it meant I felt ok telling people at least.
