Ah, so here goes.
Start of December I found out I was pregnant about 4+3. Started bleeding a week later. Called EPU who scanned me and done bloods. Nothing at all on scan (nurse was so rude but that’s another story!). Bloods that evening came back at 28. I’m a sensible person, I figured miscarriage. Bleeding continued and bloods were re done 48 hours later. Also 28. Told to take a pregnancy test two weeks later - last blood test was 16/12/21.
Bleeding stops and I test after a week clearblue now says 1-2. Great it’s leaving my system. No more bleeding and many Christmas boozy nights out. Re test on the second week as they said. Clear blue pregnant 2-3. Back to EPU. Scan shows free fluid on right ovary and a ‘mass’. No gestational sac detected ‘with certainty’ but there is something in uterus this was New Year’s Day bloods also done came back at 151. Fast forward 2 days a random gush of dark blood, nothing else. Back to hospital internal check with speculum and stated ‘no active bleeding and cervix closed’. Re scan next week. Sorry for long post but I am losing it slowly… could this be a viable pregnancy?!

I think it's crazy you have been left so long with no answers?! Christmas period or not! I would call them up and demand more tests and answers OP that's ridiculous. I've had similar and unfortunately mine ended up being a pregnancy in a unknown location. luckily for me the baby passed by themselves.

Im not saying this is the case for you as of course I've not seen your scans and in no way educated in this. But I would be pushing for answers. It's not fair or possibly even safe to leave you this long.

Sending you alot of hope and have my fingers crossed that this pregnancy is viable for you ❤️

@Blxo94
Absolutely! It's my partners first baby, I have 2 to an ex partner and have never experienced this myself. I work for the NHS myself and if this was one of my patients I would be pushing it urgently! They have been so unhelpful. I understand miscarriage is awful but I'm well aware that it happens, however it's the ectopic I'm terrified of! We've been shocked, happy, sad, happy again and now we're just fed up and confused. Hopefully next week will show more, needed a good vent! Thank you so much for your reply! Smile

I honestly have everything crossed for you! And I hope you get some answers next week. Just cannot get over how it's been dealt with! You realistically should have been brought in every 48 hours for blood work 🙄! Working for the NHS yourself you will know to go in if you feel unwell or any side pain and shoulder pain. Push to be seen if you are majorly concerned!

Such a shame for you both x

@blxo94
Honestly and I don't say this very often being a nurse myself but I was shocked that they're so relaxed about it. I understand the pressures I work in A&E but it's not excuse for bad care.
Fingers crossed for next week, it's the waiting that's so hard.
Thank you lovely x
