I am rather confused and a bit scared and I am just looking for some advice really from those of you that may have had similar experiences.
From my period dates I’m 7 weeks pregnant, On Monday I started light pink bleeding, tiny tiny clots and had mild period pains, on Friday the pains got really bad and I started bleeding heavy bright red blood and passing large plop in the toilet clots. By Saturday the pain got unbearable and I was changing my pad every hour for about 12 hours, I passed a clot the size of my palm and some more larger than a golf ball. I went to the hospital on Saturday as the EPU was closed and they advised me to go to A&E if I was changing my pad every hour or the pain suddenly got worse. I also had an odd pain in my collar bone to my shoulder and was concerned re Ectopic and my period like pains had changed to a horrible pain in my right abdomen down to my leg which were making me dizzy and lightheaded from the pain. When my pains got worse on Friday I did another digital clear blue test and it told me 1-2 weeks pregnant which I found odd as my dates say 7 weeks and I missed a period 4 weeks ago.
Anyway, at the hospital they said they didn’t have scanning facilities on weekend and bank holiday so I have to wait till Tuesday and she told me my cervix was closed which is a good thing. I was confused to how my cervix is closed yet I’ve had clots the size of my palm and my pregnancy test said I’m 1-2 weeks. So now I am just waiting till Tuesday rather scared and confused as I don’t know what’s going on and why they said I am probably not miscarrying. At this point I feel like deep down I know I am either miscarrying or the pregnancy is ectopic because I’ve never bled during pregnancy or had such severe pains and the clear blue test said 1-2 weeks. Today I am bleeding a little lighter now a darker red like a prune maybe and still passing smaller clots my pains are still there and more significant in my right abdomen, I also have these horrible sharp stabbing pains in my bum. I am wondering if anyone else has had this kind of experience and what the outcome was? I have heard some people can go onto have a successful pregnancy, but all the pointers seem to be screaming to me something is wrong!
