I’ve had two positive fetal fibronectin tests and didn’t go into labour after either of them. One with each of my first two pregnancies and I ended up being induced with both of them. One was at 34 weeks and I can’t remember what gestation the other one was but it was earlier than that. X

@StressedButBlessedx what was your outcome? I'm currently being monitored at my maternity unit for painful contractions and a positive Fetal Fibronectin test. Had my first lot of steroids last night and more to come today. Hoping they'll let me go home as I'm

Hi, nothing came of my positive tests thankfully. My symptoms got lighter until they were just every now and then, but I managed to last until 39 weeks when I had my elective csection:)

Hope all goes well for you. Easier said than done but try not to stress! My midwife said a few days later "you need to try and not stress yourself into labour over the weekend!!"

Could i please check how is your kid now. I had steroid injection at 23 week and now am 30w, baby is still cooking inside me. But recent studies shows thsr, that steroids may be adhd or low iq to the kids when they reach school. So just wanted to understand.A very anxious mum
