so i had an unplanned c-section at the start of november, was bleeding heavily for a few weeks after the section and then it started to slow down and get lighter. after a few days the bleeding came back heavy again on the 17th of dec and i was having pains that i get when i’m on my period, i’m not breastfeeding so it makes sense. that bleeding stopped after 7 days and that’s usually how long my periods last so i’m assuming it was that. anyway i go to the bathroom now and i’m bleeding again, for the past day when i go for a pee it’s been burning, not a lot but slightly but it seems to have stopped now. i went to the doctors because i thought it could be a uti so they prescribed me antibiotics, i haven’t taken them yet but i’m not wondering if this is normal or if i should go back to the doctors? i feel fine otherwise, i don’t feel unwell or anything x

I've had 2 planned sections. First one I bled for 7 days and then completely stopped, second I bled for about 6 weeks! All sounds normal to me but speak to your GP if you want reassurance. Also the heavier the things are you lift, the more you will bleed

Well if they prescribed you antibiotics you should take them. Did they test your urine? Did u explain to them u had c section and bleeding for so long? You can ask your midwife still too ...
I had weeks and weeks of bleeding too but wasnt heavy so i dont know.....
