Yeah nearly the night after I had him, I finally slept too. I had a horrid digestive issues in pregnancy, if I ate anything after lunchtime sleep was seriously lacking even a new born didn’t keep me awake as much as my indigestion if I ate in the evening.

Immediately! It was incredible!

Yes! I was on omeprazole in both pregnancies due to terrible reflux. It went as soon as I’d given birth.

I’ve had constipation on and off all this pregnancy. I’m almost 34 weeks now and I’ve been wondering the same thing, will I just go back to normal once baby is here?

Well of course! Otherwise all women will stay sick for life after birth ..its just pregnancy

how long did last for?

My post partum constipation lasted about 4 weeks and resolved with laxido. Had one OK poo after 7 days then nothing for the next 3 weeks. It was hellish tbh. I think I've been left with a rectocele too. So grim. And unlike my first pregnancy completely. Hopefully you won't have it this bad though!
