Booking app blood test results - can someone help me out with these?

Hi,

As the title suggests, I went to my booking app yesterday at 9+4, and got my blood work results uploaded this morning. Everything seems within range with the exception of 3 values which has me a little worried. Would appreciate if anyone has had similar results and care to share their experience, or if someone is a doctor and can offer some reassurance/ help me understand these better!
I’ll also get in touch with my midwife and ask. Thanks so much for your help!!! x

I am NOT a medic, but I think you are anaemic

Scrunchies · 31/12/2021 10:56

Totally normal and insignificant. Normal changes seen in pregnancy as the amount of blood ‘expands’ to support baby as well.

Scrunchies · 31/12/2021 10:57

@itwasntaparty her Hb is 133…..completely normal so I’m not sure what gave you that idea. This figure would be low in anaemia.

Low mcv points to iron deficiency but your Hb is good. I wouldn't be worried. I never look at the RBC value it doesn't tell me much in my job. But yes, do discuss with your midwife

Thank you all! Appreciate the help and reassurance! ❤️
