My beta is 57 at 13dpo

Is this too low? I'm fraking out it to low

So I got my first blood test at 12/13 dpo but im worried 57 is just to low. What were your numbers at this dpo ladies looking for reassurance as im on the edge of tear constantly

Pregnancy tests can be considered positive with hCG concentrations of 20, so a result of 57 at 12/13 dpo indicates that something's going on - tentative congratulations may be in order. The main thing to watch for with beta-hCG levels is the rate of increase - that's more important than the number in the first test - do you have another test booked?

Levels in the early days can be very different for different pregnancies, so it's hard to compare one-off concentrations. The levels depend so much upon factors that we just don't know the timing for - variation of a day or even a few hours in the timing of implantation can give very different levels.

I'd say that a beta-hCG above 20 is a promising start at 12/13 dpo and shows that something is going on in there, and the next step will be to check the rate of increase, which should give you a better idea of what's actually happening. Good luck - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Your numbers sounds OK to me as it's early stages. Mine was around 425 hcg at 17dpo and was considered to be average for that time frame.

It depends on if you are certain of your ovulation dates?

Most IVF clinics like to see a hcg of at least 100 on 14 DPO and there is some evidence that this is the best indicator of a viable pregnancy

So by 14DPO yours cooks well be over that level as they often more than double in 48 hours in the early days

However there are lots of women on these boards who had much lower hcg and went on to have healthy babies

(Mine was 159 at 13DPO but I had twins)
