Hello! I am 37 weeks and have been awake for almost an hour with a constant period cramp feeling in my lower left stomach which radiates round m lower back and down my thigh. Could this mean my body is getting ready?? The pain is constant but seems to get worse every so often (maybe every 25 mins ish).

I've been having bad lightning crotch for a few weeks now and some cramping so I'm wondering if it means labour is close?? I am a FTM if it isn't obvious so every sign is making me wonder Grin

Hopeful bump as they're still happening! Pain is no longer constant but every 25-30 minutes

Could it be contractions? Call
The maternity ward where you plan to have baby and ask their advice. Good luck

It is definitely worth going in to be checked. If you've been having intermittent cramps for a few days it's important to see what's going on.

At 37 weeks there are often a lot of aches and pains, not Jesse due to the size of your bump, but if there's a sense of regular intervals to the cramps then you may well be in labour.

Please go in and let them check. Good luck 🤞🙂

I would call the place you are planning to labour a let them know! I'm also 37 weeks second pregnancy- no signs yet though. Let me know how you get on xx

Aphrodite31 · 29/12/2021 09:08

Meant not least due to the bump size!
