Hi sorry if this is a silly question but can someone tell me if gold top milk (channel island) is safe during pregnancy? Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

the richer milk generally has more calcium. Its higher fat content and calcium is recommend for growing children. So by that logic it should be perfect for a growing unborn baby

Yes. The only cows’ milk to avoid is ‘raw’ or unpasteurised milk, which is quite difficult to find as it can only be sold with a specific licence. It traditionally has a green foil top when it comes directly from a dairy but this is not to be confused with standard supermarket semi-skimmed, which also has a green (plastic) lid.
