38 weeks so nauseous & can’t eat anything - do you start wanting food again after birth?

Literally zero appetite I think because of nausea / stomach squashing etc - did anyone have this & find nausea left & appetite returned post birth ?

I feel you op. I had crippling nausea, weird horrendous taste and smell for the full nine months. I was thirsty for nine months but couldn't drunk ANYTHING because EVERYTHING tasted like slurry. But, hang on on there because mere hours after I'd given birth, I had my first cup of tea which tasted like actual tea. Your taste and stomach and appetite will reappear very quickly and with some vengeance to make up for the last nine months. I hope this helps x

I suffered with hyperemesis through all of my pregnancies. My appetite came back immediately Grin that post-birth brew and toast is honestly the best meal in the world
