Bleeding and UTI. Stressed!!!

So I'm 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant.

From 4 weeks - 4w4d I had some light pinky brown spotting when wiping and then it stopped.

Then on 5w1d it started again but more red and a little more of it. I'm now 5w4d and still getting this red/pink/brown stringy discharge every time I wipe and a little on a pad a day.

Went to GP who said EPU won't see me unless it's heavy. They also said I have a urine infection so have antibiotics to treat.

Had a miscarriage in May so feeling super negative and anxious. Sick of seeing blood when I wipe ☹️

Has anyone else had similar?

I've had similar. I was 16 weeks and had bright red blood which I thought was a lot apparently it wasn't. Went to a&. As no pain drs weren't concerned at all due to volume of blood, continued for a few days
Apparently it's normal to spot. Brown spotting is old blood so could be ur body clearing out. Spotting pink or red could be implantation.
Advice I was given is if u soak a pad in less than an hour there's something serious happening.

But trust ur gut, if u feel u need to get checked, get checked!

Sorry to hear you went through the same frustrating experience.

I had spotting with my daughter and with my miscarriage but since the MC I just can't shake the anxiety it's all going to go wrong.

Yes, at 10w, followed by 8 weeks of bleeding, healthy baby in the end

I had similar pink spotting at 6 weeks, I phoned epu directly and they saw me no problems at all. All was fine and I'm due soon, hopefully antibiotics will help as uti may be aggregating your cervix. It's a long wait until 12 weeks I would push for a scan or speak to another doctor.

Aw glad things worked out okay for you. Feeling so fed up. It's brown for a few days then goes back to pinky / red.

Feels like it's over all the time ☹️
