Hi all, congratulations to you all! I am due June 16th with my second baby. I am still sick most evenings, has the sickness passed for everyone else? Didn’t have any at all with DS!

@NewmumJ I'm feeling a lot better now the tiredness had subsided. I think the nausea has gone but I've non stop eaten over the Xmas period so not really given it a chance to rear its ugly head lol
I am also still having the odd crying session, this week because someone asked me if I was having an amniocentesis and then again watching Chelseys baby come early on Eastenders! Good old hormones x

Hi, I’m due 24th June. Third and final baby. First time ever posting on here as well. I’ve been on here over the past week or so researching about NIPT testing and amniocentesis. I am booked on Tuesday for the amnio due to high risk screening results. I really scared and really nervous for the result but I have read so many positive story’s on here which have made me feel confident that I will have a positive outcome

@xXxBoymumx2 I am awaiting the result of the DS screening and every unknown phone number that comes up my heart skips a beat at the moment.
Baby was wriggling around too much at 12 week scan so had bloods taken at 16 weeks.
I looked at NIPT but it was costly and I was told that the NHS offer this if you come back high risk, did you get offered this?

@Clueless22 hi, yes I was offered the Nipt after a high chance result for ds 1 in 83. Obviously it has come back high chance. Having an amnio on Tuesday. On the scan the baby looks perfect and nothing was flagged up and the nt measurement was well within the normal range. I think the reason for the high chance results is some to do with the placenta. Hopefully we will know by the end of the week so fingers crossed all good news.

@Happymum73058 sorry I haven’t been on for a few days. I’m feeling ok at the minute just sort of on edge and like I’m stood at a stand still. I had the amnio on Tuesday and just waiting the results. The consultant scanned the baby and found nothing of concern. Everything seemed perfect and as it should be. Ohhh wow you’ve got one of each already that’s so lucky. I have 2 boys we were hoping for a girl but I have a feeling this one is a boy. How has your pregnancy been? Xx

@F2022 I think it would be a medical miracle if your pregnancy is from a one night stand in July! It would mean you are about two months further on from your scan dates. Sperm can only survive for a few days outside the body and fertilised eggs can't live for weeks without implanting. If you're not sure if you had a period in August there's a small chance maybe you were pregnant and had a chemical or mmc but that's less likely. So if the only partner you had in September is your current one then he is definitely the father. Congratulations

What's mmc?

A missed miscarriage. Sorry I probably confused things by mentioning it. But it is so unlikely I wouldn't even think about it. You and your partner are expecting a beautiful baby! I'm also due in June, on the 28th.
