Needle/ wedding band thread test ?!

First time tried it tonight and have goosepimples! I am 12 weeks (first scan next week so don't know if they may be able to determine then)- no idea what we are having yet.

Went side to side (boy) and then second time went circles for girl.
Done it in my partner also who got exactly the same.

Has anyone tried?!

Also it stopped after girl completely (we don't plan on having more)

It's just guessing at this stage. You'll just have to wait . It's 50/50 and even the 20 week scan is a best guess.

Absolutely @MissBattleaxe I googled the needle and thread and a lot of it seems accurate but who knows .... Bring on 20 weeks

I did all of those things for fun before the anatomy scan. I was convinced I was having a boy and the old wives tale tests all said girl. Guess what? I'm having a girl!

I know there's no science or anything behind them but one thing they are good for is opening your mind to the possibility that your baby might be the other sex than what you imagined. Reminding you that it really is 50/50 each time you get pregnant and that mummy intuition isn't always right!

Mothers intuition for me is strongly saying girl (also had a lot of girl associated cravings...) My mum (Nana's intuition) is saying Boy 😂

It's definitely so much fun to do... I don't want to get my hopes up too much as I would love a little boy but will wait and see for the scan
