So over the last few days I’ve took a variety of tests (multiple brands to check) and originally they all had shadows of lines. However this morning I tested with fmu with a clear and simple test and it showed a faint but definitely there and definitely pink line. When I googled the sensitivity of these tests it said 20mlu so I tried the early digital I had as these say they are 10mlu. The digital came back negative but I’m just wondering how that works? Is it really 10mlu?

Use the same brand over a couple of days.

If there’s progression they’ll get stronger.

Unfortunately lots of early didn’t lines don’t progress and go on to be chemicals.

See that’s what I thought, I used the clear and simple the first time round where there was a shadow of a line and then obviously this morning it was darker but still faint. I didn’t need to tilt it or squint to see it so I’m guessing that’s a little progression. I’ve just been really worried, it’s my first pregnancy and I’m not very clued up on anything so I feel very out of my depth already so thank you for replying. Fingers crossed it’s not a chemical and it keeps progressing!

In my personal experience I have been surprised by the cheap ones and they have shown the first lines! So you never know. I would recommended a first response tomorrow with FMU and then everyday thereafter for progression if there is a faint line. If there is absolutely nothing by tomorrow on first response then it was possibly a chemical ... fingers crossed for you! Let us know xx

I should add when I say the cheap ones I mean the less sensitive ones that claim to be 20 mIU

Ive already spent so much money on tests but I have 1 clear and simple left (don’t mind getting more of those they’re only £1) and a clear blue digital but I want to wait until its 100% positive to use that one! I’m going to test again with the clear and simple in a couple of days and if it’s progressed I’ll do the digital again
