RH negative and potential brown spots

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone has been on a similar situation.

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and RH negative and yesterday noticed some tiny tiny tiny brown spots/marks in knickers. I only noticed it as I decided to wear a liner yesterday otherwise I would never have seen it, and even looking at it now with a spotlight up close, I’m still not sure if it’s anything.

Anyway, I’m only worrying as I was told if I have any bleeding I should go to A&E to get an Anti G shot due to be RH negative. I’m actually traveling and not back until the 28th so I’ve got myself into a bit of a fluster. There’s been no more ‘marks’ since yesterday.

Has anyone had something similar and is also RH negative? Did you require an anti G shot? If so, how important is it to be within 72 hours?

Thank you!

I've only ever needed anti-D for fresh or active bleeding, brown spotting isn't counted as fresh bleeding. They it's 'old blood'. This is my 3rd baby so fairly experienced with the Rh- process. Also have placenta previa this time around and needing to get a shot every time I bleed which has been a few times so far, but they have said not for spotting.

@BelieveInRainbows Thanks so much for taking the time to reply, you've really eased my mind. I hope your placenta pravia it's not causing you too many issues (I currently have a low lying placenta). ❤️
