I had my 20 week scan today. All looking good so far! There's only one measurement that's "off", which is "head/face/neck biometry" - it's at 11% only (3.8mm). Does anyone know what that means?

Thank you!

Did the sonographer mention anything about it? If not, try not to worry. I don't know what those measurements are but babies grow so fast at this point, if they weren't concerned, you shouldn't be.

Did they not guide you what it might mean or reassure you / prepare you what to expect? Hopefully it’ll be completely fine and sorry no knowledge here

Nah, they said everything's fine, I just wondered about that one parameter when I arrived home and had a closer read. Everything else is pretty much perfect measurements.

Don't worry, there's a wide range of "normal" for each measurement! It has to be less than 5% or more than 95% I think for them to be concerned :)

Oh good, they wouldn’t just say that unless it was ok. I can understand the analysing it though, I keep being so curious about our baby and wanting to know all well
