Worried after last scan

Hi everyone I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant with my second baby
And I had a growth scan today baby had been just above 50th centile my whole pregnancy but today shes on the 90th
Because of her abdominal measurements
The doctor had to scan me twice as first time she done the measurements she was off the chart for her abdominal measurements
My gtt test was negetive and my fuild level is normal
She did say the scan was hard because baby was scrunched up which could make her tummy seem bigger
But I'm overthinking and wondering is something wrong with her
I'm just worried as I was induced at 38 weeks last time due to a big baby it failed due to fetal distress and cord around his neck I had an emergency c section

There not going to give me a sweep until 5 days after my due date then induce me 2 days after that if it dosnt work
I'm so scared they will leave it too long and shell be too big or induction will fail again and I wont get my vbac I'm also scared shell get stuck

My main doctor also wanted to avoid induction as my body didnt take to it and the fact it's only been a year since my last c section

Anyone been through this or similar
Would love some advice calm me down

Also any ideas help get things moving on there on all help be great tia

Hi @Lily189. Sorry, I don't have any experience or expert advice on this but I'm sorry you're going through this. Would you be able to get a second opinion on the scan? Maybe, a private gynaecologist who can check to see if the current situation matches to their findings? Sorry again and I hope you get some answers soon. Lots of hugs x

Try not to worry, OP - I know easier said than done..
Scan measurements can OFTEN be wrong and misleading. As well as the baby's positions, my consultant couple of years ago told me that baby's full bladder can affect the abdominal measurements..

I would definitely push for another scan to double-check.

Really hope all goes well for you and your little one and that you get the VBAC labour you want xx
