Telling DH

Sounds ridiculous. I can’t bloody bring myself to tell him. He is the most lovely dad to our 20 month DTs and was to our older dd who would be 4 now.

I got a surprise positive test nearly 2 weeks ago and I’m still sitting on the news. He will be supportive but I think he’s exhausted and will probably inside be feeling sad at the prospect of no sleep for even longer.

I really need to tell him. Help!

Big hugs. You're just going to have to bite the bullet and do it. Maybe wait until the kids are in bed one evening, bring him a glass of wine/beer, take a deep breath and say "I've got something to tell you, I was feeling a bit off so I took a pregnancy test and it's positive" or similar. Then give him time to be shocked and to process it - remember you've had 2 weeks to come to terms with it, but it'll be a bolt out the blue for him. You will feel much better once he knows, and you can talk and plan together.

Aww, you will feel so much better when you told him OP. It will be ok. Good luck & congrats Flowers
