Oh how much I would love a full night sleep. I'm absolutely massive and can't believe I've got 9 weeks left still (elcs). This is my third and definitely final pregnancy!!

28 weeks here. Second child, my abs have given up and I’m massive as well (short person with tall husband and gestational diabetes, I make off the chart massive babies for my weight and height). I’m up at 4 most nights for a wee and can’t sleep again….

What are you having this time round? What’s the age gap of the siblings? Are they excited?

Dextersmumhasgotitgoingon · 24/12/2021 05:32

FTM over here and only really felt massive in the last few weeks (39 weeks on Monday) so feel your pain. Would love to sleep for more than 4 hours a night! I guess that's a dream for in a year or so's time WinkConfused

firstimemamma · 24/12/2021 05:36

I'll be 29 weeks on Monday. I love being pregnant but it is tiring with a 3 year old to run around after!

Treesuphooray · 24/12/2021 05:51

Snap, 29 weeks tomorrow and my 3 year old is up already, because it’s Christmas Eve and it’s so exciting!

Feeling massive and struggling to sleep. Although I’m a bit paranoid that my bump has got smaller! Think it’s just less water retention as I was starting to look a bit like a weeble.

HyphenCobra · 24/12/2021 06:05

Yup, 30 weeks. Restless most of night then wide awake early morning 😶

Motherofcats007 · 24/12/2021 06:28

On the up side I’ve already done the dishwasher, put a loaf of bread on and now having breakfast all before the toddler gets up

I've been laying here thinking how hungry i am and want to do a fry up but need husband to wake up and get some last minute bits from Tesco first!!

I have bad SPD otherwise I'd have gone and done it myself - Sigh

BugMummy · 24/12/2021 07:00

Almost 31 weeks here with no2. DD is 19 months. I have a mix of love and hate pregnancy I love my bump and feeling baby move but both times I've had hypermesis this time it's been worse. Last couple of days I've really struggled to sleep for no apparent reason! I feel massive and baby is lower already (first was breech so never had this sensation!)

firstimemamma · 24/12/2021 10:14

How lovely that we all have each other for company and solidarity Smile

@BugMummy I carried low last time and this time is the same so I feel your pain!

Is anyone else having a surprise and not finding out the sex? We have a ds already & think either sex next time will be amazing.

Please can I join? I’m 30+2 days and would love to sleep through the night without getting uncomfortable, leg cramps or heartburn. Plus I basically have a wee and the within 15 minutes need to go again. I might move into the bathroom!

Enwi · 26/12/2021 01:01

Ah, can I join?! 33 weeks and miserable. I had a magical few weeks from 25-30 weeks where I felt barely pregnant (after a nightmare first 25 weeks Envy) and then it’s been all down hill from there.

I’m currently sat in bed at 1am waiting for my heartburn to pass so I can go to sleep. I’ve needed approximately 3 wees in the last hour despite not drinking anything since 10pm, my pelvis hurts whenever I have to move and I keep getting braxton hicks which are just annoying and uncomfortable.

Less than 2 months until anything else sounds like such a tiny period of time, but when you’re talking about the last 2 months of pregnancy it may aswell be 6 years away.

Sympathies ladies!

wingingit33 · 26/12/2021 08:55

@Enwi absolutely feels like 6 years! My csection is booked for 39w. I have 61 days to go, not that I'm counting Hmm Though still basically done f all in preparation

Enwi · 26/12/2021 10:29

Oh it does sound much better in days though doesn’t it! I’ll be induced at 38 weeks, so 34 days to go! Gosh, that sounds much more palatable than 5 weeks Grin

Blxo94 · 26/12/2021 14:54

31 weeks. Pelvic pain & craving chocolate badly with lots of chocolate in the house form gifts from Christmas... I have gestational diabetes ☹️!

Only get up for 1 pee during the night so I can't complain about that but I'm so fed up. Everything is so heavy!

Somerandomgirl · 26/12/2021 20:05

Nearly 30 weeks....feel massive.... insomnia during the early hours ...then all day tired like zombie..then again cant sleep...on repeat...what is this i dont know...but soul destroying ... panics and nausea before bed and leg cramps during the night and cant change position without needing to pee... cant wait to have this baby i am so fed up feeling awful and constantly worrying if its gonna be ok 😣 at least youre having it early , my c section is for 41 weeks cause wait for natural birth first...my god ..lol

sociallydistained · 26/12/2021 20:13

Oh the third trimester is shiiit! I clearly had a wonderful second trimester cause this is hell. I am 35 and just have every symptom going now. I fear going to bed these days 🙄

Enwi · 26/12/2021 21:55

Sounds like we’re all in the same boat! Does anyone have anything to look forward to?

I have a growth scan in a fortnight on the 7th and looking forward to that and seeing how big she’s gotten. Smile

mumtobe1234567 · 27/12/2021 00:25

30 here!! Barely slept the last week and I'm now getting cranky!!

sunhouseisashed · 27/12/2021 03:46

36 weeks here but only 3 to go as also an elcs.
I'm in unbelievable pain with my pelvis I can't bend down I feel like my knees can't support me to get back up.
I can't move in bed and I'm in pain every time the baby moves (which is a lot)
Feel constantly exhausted but not in the tired sense in that my brain has to tell my body so hard to make every move.
All in all though I've little to complain about I try to tell myself this every day.

LexXxi · 27/12/2021 12:37

I'm 29 weeks and a FT (geriatric) M, I am also not sleeping well and look/feel huge. So tired and not due until 7/3/22

I feel you totally. I'm 29 +4 weeks. I'm already 15kg heavier since getting pregnant and really feeling the access weight. I have heartburn from hell keeping me up, I'm up peeing all night, have leg cramps, pelvic pain and twinges, which `i think maybe the start of Braxton Hicks. I can't stay comfortable in bed either. I used to love going to bed. Meh! I was skipping about in the 2nd trimester.
