At what stage of pregnancy are you supposed to stop wearing underwired bras?

I am 38+4 and still wearing underwires. Have also invested in an Anita underwired breastfeeding bra. Have got some Royce non wires as well.

may be it an old wives tale. I listened to the myth with my first pregnancy and while breast feeding and now my boobs hang on the floor!! In that case it will be underwires all the way for me.

Wore them through both my pregnancies and bf'd fine with the two of them (that's the children not the norks)

s&c i listened to that same myth with first preg so ended up with saggy boobs.. and massive ones too. Hence this preg am wearing underwired. As long as they fit properly then they are not a prob.

i've worn underwired throughout my whole pregnancy! i found the non-underwired would roll up and i would have to unnattractively pull them down again as they kept pinching!

I've stopped wearing underwires only because I heard that underwires can give you a greater chance of getting mastitis, something I'd really rather avoid! However I'm not sure if this is another over-paranoid piece of advice related to pregnancy? Interested to hear what others think!
