Worried I’m incontinent :(

I’m 24 weeks pregnant and the baby feels really low down - getting lots of kicks along my bikini line. Sometimes stronger kicks feel uncomfortable and like she is kicking my bladder.

I’ve started leaking - I thought it may be watery discharge which I think is common but now I am worried it may be incontinence.

Has anyone else experienced this please? I’m a bit worried that I might be permanently incontinent Xmas Sad

This is very normal during pregnancy and should stop as soon as you have given birth and no longer have a baby pressing on your bladder! Keep doing your pelvic floors too!

Sorry I know this is gross but can ypu smell it to make sure it is wee? As PP said sadly it's pretty common in pregnancy but good to be sure its urine and not amniotic fluid which smells quite sweet apparently Confused

I agree with pp, not the nicest but try and check if it's definitely urine..?
I have had a lot more discharge while pregnant and it definitely feels sometimes as if I must have peed myself a bit/leaked but it always just seems to be discharge

Thanks for the replies! Had a bit of a sniff and I don’t think it is wee - it does smell a bit sweet Xmas Confused

If it smells sweet, get it checked. They ask you to put a pad on and then they can test if it's amniotic fluid. Don't feel like your wasting their time, better safe than sorry
