Hi all,

Im pregnant again after a MMC and chemical pregnancy last year. I'm around 6 weeks and had a scan two days ago showing a little heartbeat, which I was just overjoyed with.
Ive had really painful boobs as my biggest symptom, along with some nausea and dizziness. Today, my symptoms have just disappeared and I don't even feel pregnant. At all.
My husband keeps telling me to stop worrying but easier said than done, especially after two miscarriages and it's your body. It's all I can think about. Its so consuming. Has anyone got any recent positive stories? Early pregnancy can be a real lonely place can't it xx

Nothing much to add but I totally get your anxiety. I'm only 5weeks but experiencing the same. I too feel so lonely and totally helpless. I am not functioning well today at all and don't know how to paint on a smile with family today.
Hope it works out well for you. Xx

Symptoms can fluctuate 🙂my sickness went entirely at 8wks, was on and off from about 6-8wks. Now rocking my little one as he snoozes.

I'd just enjoy Christmas without feeling grim as chances are you'll feel poorly again soon. Yay?

I'm so sorry for your anxiety, I remember this time. So worrying. I had exactly the same, but slightly later: lost all symptoms around 7 weeks and booked a private scan for reassurance. I do hope everything goes well for you and remember that fluctuations in symptoms is soooo common and doesn't necessarily mean the worst :) merry Christmas

My symptoms also went all of a sudden. I remember that my sore boobs went away over night.

Like you I was panicking, but I now have a healthy and bouncy 16 month old son.

I’m going to reiterate what someone else said on another thread - even with a miscarriage, symptoms take a while to disappear. At least a couple of weeks. So suddenly not feeling any is more likely to be normal fluctuations than a miscarriage. But, like you, I keep squeezing my boobs to check!

GinnyBee · 25/12/2021 21:14

As reassuring as they can be, symptoms don’t mean anything! I continued having symptoms for two weeks after my first pregnancy had stopped developing. I’m not pregnancy for the third time and around 7 weeks my symptoms went, then came back three weeks later! I’m now almost 20 weeks.

Early pregnancy is an anxious time but unfortunately there’s nothing you can do but wait and see how it plays out. Symptoms or no symptoms. Hoping for a sticky baby for you xxx
