I tested positive for covid yesterday. I have a 10 week old baby. I cot double vaccinated while I was pregnant and at the moment I just feel like I have a cold at the moment. Baby seems like she just wants to sleep. She's still drinking her milk and having dirty diapers. Anyone else been in the same situation have any advice on what I should be looking out for in her? I'm on edge worrying about her.

Covid is usually mild in babies and young children so rest assured that in all likelihood she will be fine!
The main things to look out for are fever (temp >38 degrees), decrease in feeding amount/wet nappies, and increased breathing effort.
Nothing to do for now except look after yourself and her, and get some friends and family to deliver you some treats will you're self isolating!

I had Covid with my 8 week old and he tested positive too. I felt rubbish for about 3 days but baby seemed fine! Keep checking their temperature, and poo’s and wee’s and feed as normal but check with health visitor, GP etc if worried.

Stick on a film and have lots of cuddles with babe on the sofa. Speedy recovery x

Oh yes, forgot to mention you should order a PCR test for little one (and any other household members) too.
If they do end up becoming unwell later in the week, it would be useful for doctors to know the result
